The effects of climate change are expected to be severe in several important industries, including water, health, and agriculture. Globally, the effects of climate change will be seen, but in poorer nations with fewer resources for adaptation and coping, these effects will be felt more keenly. Over 70% of Tanzanians survive on subsistence agriculture; their livelihoods depend fully on rains. This means, lives therefore fail when the rains fail.
